Restoration works

Posted on in General

The museum has a new ‘old’ look with all of the building’s interiors and exteriors freshly painted. The NSW Department of Education, who owns the buildings, took the opportunity in the recent closure to repair and restore. We paint-scraped each interior to find the original colours and repainted those. We found the original decorative and dado lines and evidence of original dado rails. We can’t wait to show off our new old colours when we re-open for school excursions.
