Termination of services

I have to inform you that action is being taken to obtain the approval of His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor in Council to the termination of your services as Mistress, Infants’ School, Glebe in terms of Section 3 of the “Married Women’s Act,1932-35” with last day of service, 31^st March, 1936.

The termination of your services from this date will be gazetted in due course.

Comments on the teacher and her work

Mrs. Anderson’s planning is regular, thorough, specific and purposeful. Her capacity to organise courses is well above average.

Mrs. Anderson is an outstanding teacher. She has full understanding of the needs of each child, and the power to elicit from each pupil the maximum degree of response. Under her highly stimulating guidance every member of her close gives of his or her best, consequently excellent progress is being achieved with all aspects of instruction. Mrs. Anderson not only possesses the capacity to organise courses and plan sound teaching procedures, but she also has the power to implement them with creditable effectiveness.

Her professional outlook, her capacity for classroom management and her personality enable her to reach a standard of proficiency that is very praiseworthy.

Dear Mrs W. Anderson,

As we did not get a chance to see you before you left Nundle, we are taking this opportunity to wish you well and to thank you for your co-operation and assistance while on the teaching staff of Nundle School.

We hope you are very happy in your new position and that you are having good health.
